British Journal of English Language Linguistics (BJELL) is a peer-reviewed international journal run by the European Centre for Research Training and Development, United Kingdom. BJELL publishes original contributions in linguistic research from data drawn from English language. The scope of the journal includes papers in broad theoretical and methodological contexts which stress theoretically and technologically innovative scholarship. BJELL publishes research and analysis in diverse areas, including sociolinguistics, history of English, corpus linguistics, and dialectology, English grammar. It also publishes book reviews of potential interest to readers. Papers submitted to this journal must be original, and are not considered in any other journals. The journal is published in both print and online versions. The online version of the journal is free access and downloads.
